August 2026 Battleground Live Update

Our simulation and exercise module is one of our biggest hits and now it is even better. Tell it about your exercise in detail and RAiDAR will build the entire exercise for you. When running the sim, participants can be notified by email when an inject arrives and navigate them back to the participant screen.

Click on the "Build Exercise with RAiDAR" button on the timeline and follow the prompts. You have complete control over the inject types, number and intensity. Let RAiDAR build them, you edit them and away you go. RAiDAR can add additional injects anytime.

Participant Play Screen

The all-new participant play screen is more intuitive, easier to use and includes new features:

- "All Injects" shows everything received

- "Sent" shows you injects you have replied to

- Team chat mimics MS Teams/Slack to give in-sim chatting

- My Notes is a space to capture notes during the exercise for the facilitator to use afterwards

Facilitators also get enhancements. They can add their own notes, view participant notes and participate and monitor the team chat. When the exercise is complete, click the RAiDAR Debrief button and a report is produced ready to export into Word to be tailored. Click on the Build exercise with RAiDAR button anytime to add more injects based on the progress of the simulation.

The Battleground Command Centre is your one-stop menu for all types of visualisations, dashboards, reports and insights. This Beta module, will be developing over time and we encourage you to use each feature and let us know what you think. Turned off by default, ask your friendly Battleground person to enable the Command Centre for you.

- Touchbase has the added feature of seeing who will receive the message by using the "View List" button.

- Modules have been reorganised to better recognise how the system is used with Emergency Management being renamed to Response which also includes Resilience Incidents.

- Response Teams are now Teams/Groups and live in the General area, recognising that they are used in more than just Plans and BIAs.

RAiDAR Chat at the bottom of the screen is your source of chatting with your data. Ask it the impact of outages and come up with something novel. See what it says and let us know.
