Battleground Live Touchbase: Theme Editor and Email Confirmation
Theme Editor for branding emails, the new two-step click/confirm flow to avoid phantom clicks, and the expiry warning by recipient time zone.
Battleground Live TouchBase: New Features Overview
1. Review the new Theme Editor 0:16
- Use the Theme Editor to brand outgoing Battleground emails.
- Create multiple themes for different message types or campaigns.
- Customize visual elements such as:
- Button colors
- Emblem/logo
- Fonts and font colors
- Borders and other styling
- Preview how emails and confirmation pages will look before sending.
2. Understand the new two-step response flow 0:54
- TouchBase now uses a two-step process for responses.
- Instead of clicking a response link directly in the email, recipients first click "Click here to register".
- That click takes them to a confirmation page where they choose their response.
- This change helps prevent email systems from generating phantom clicks or fake responses during phishing checks.
3. Note the new response expiration messaging 1:43
- Messages now show that responses are open until a specific time.
- Recipients are warned in the email when the message will expire.
- The expiration timing is shown based on the recipient’s time zone.
4. Apply themes to templates or individual messages 1:59
- You can use themes in two ways:
- Build them into a message template
- Select a theme when creating a TouchBase message
- The interface also includes a reminder about the new two-step process in a green box.
5. Confirm what has not changed 2:15
- Aside from the new theme and response-flow updates, everything else in TouchBase works the same.
- Existing workflows should remain familiar to users.
