BIA Peak Season
Battleground BIA peak season update. We now have a much more granular way to set peak season in the Criticality tab (months, weeks, dates, custom patterns, even multiple peaks), and the wording carries through to Word/CSV exports.
How to Use the New Peak Season Options in Battleground BIAs
1. Open the BIA and go to the Criticality tab 0:00
- Open your BIA record in Battleground BIAs.
- Navigate to the Criticality tab.
- This is where the new peak season options are now available.
2. Choose a more granular peak season pattern 0:13
- Select the new peak season field.
- Choose from more detailed recurrence options, including:
- Months of the year
- Weeks of the month
- Days of the week
- Specific dates
- Custom patterns
- You can also combine selections to better match your business cycle.
3. Review the auto-generated peak season wording 0:38
- After you make a selection, the system automatically generates plain-language wording for the peak season.
- Example:
- Selecting March, April, May becomes "peak during March, April, May".
- Selecting first week of every month becomes "peak in first week of every month".
- This makes the peak season description easy to read and understand.
4. Add multiple peak periods if needed 0:56
- You can add multiple peaks to describe more complex business cycles.
- The system will combine the selections into the correct wording automatically.
- This helps you capture the most critical times for your business process with greater accuracy.
5. Export the peak season wording to Word or CSV 1:15
- When you print or export the BIA to Word or CSV, the peak season wording is included.
- This ensures the detailed peak season description carries through into your reports and exports.
- The update improves the clarity and usefulness of Battleground BIAs.
