Limiting Interruptions With Do Not Disturb Function

IOS:

Open the Contacts app and find someone you want to your phone to ring for
Tap “Edit” and scroll down to “Ringtone”
Turn on the “Emergency Bypass” toggle and hit “Done” and then “Done” again.
Your phone will now ring when that contact calls you, even if your phone is set to Do Not Disturb.
You can do the same with “Text Tone” as well.

Android:

Open the Contacts app and find someone you want to your phone to ring for
Hit the star/favourites on their contact cards
Open the Settings app and go to “Sound & vibration” and then “Do Not Disturb”.
Under exceptions tap on “Calls, Messages, and conversations” (Some phones this may be named “People”)
Select “Calls” and allow “Favourite contacts only”
Your phone will now ring when that contact calls you, even if your phone is set to Do Not Disturb.
You can do the same for text messages as well, simple click “Messages” and allow “Favourite contacts only”.

Allowing App notifications (Android only):

Allow Battleground push notifications to ring/beep even while on Do Not Disturb.

Open the Settings app and go to “Sound & vibration” and then “Do Not Disturb”.
Under exceptions tap on “Apps”
Press add apps and select Battleground from the list
Your phone will now receive Battleground notifications, even if your phone is set to Do Not Disturb.
