Release Notes - September 2025

Welcome to the September Battleground Live update email. In this edition we have some exciting new changes and enhancements to introduce you to:

1. Rich Text Editor in BIAs

2. Flexible field visibility in BIAs

3. A New Enhanced Help Site

1. Rich Text Editor in BIAs.

To enhance the BIAs, all description and note fileds are now WYSIWYG Rich text Editors. This means you can add formatting, tables and images to your description fields. This will show in the Word exports as well. You don't need to do anything to your existing BIAs, we have formatted them to suit. But you can enhance them moving forward!

2. Flexible field visibility in BIAs.

One of our most requested new features for the BIA is now live - the ability to turn on/off certain fields in the BIA. This means you can control what the user sees and completes in the BIA. If you don't use certain fields, simply hide them.

You can find this in the configuration menu as "BIA Field Visibility". No data will be lost if you turn off fields already in use. They will just not show on the screen.

3. New Enhanced Help Site.

Our new Help Site is now live.

You can get there from the Help > User Guides menu item in Battleground Live.

This new site has a lot of standard operating procedures, guides and videos. There is an AI assistant to help you find, learn and explore.

4. Other New Enhancements.

In our continuous improvement mindset here are other changes:

• Additional fields in Configuration tables so you can see details such as where Departments are used and more.
• Continually increasing the capabaility of the Word document exports from the BIA and Critical Operations, covering more fields and field combinations.
• Enhancements across Risk Intelligence.
